Nightmares Reimagined: Nico Carrillo Seeks Redemption Against Nabil Anane in High-Stakes Title Rematch!

A year-end blockbuster of epic proportions has officially been unleashed! At The Inner Circle 43 on Friday, December 18, 2026, inside Bangkok’s legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium, reigning ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Nico “King of the North” Carrillo puts his coveted crown on the line against the man who handed him a soul-crushing defeat—Algerian-Thai sensation Nabil Anane.

Their fierce rivalry traces back to January 2025 at ONE 170, where Nabil shocked the combat sports world by scoring three devastating knockdowns to stop the Scottish knockout machine via first-round TKO.

Since that agonizing setback, Carrillo moved up a weight class, completely restructured his game, and went on a terrifying rampage to capture the undisputed featherweight throne. However, to truly legitimize his reign and erase the ghost of his past, the Scottish juggernaut must conquer his ultimate nightmare.

Meanwhile, 22-year-old Nabil enters this high-stakes sequel brimming with renewed momentum after a dominant unanimous decision victory over Yuki Yoza at ONE Samurai 4. Moving up to featherweight once again, Nabil isn’t just hunting for a second world title—he is determined to prove his first-round destruction was no fluke.
